Modify file and folder dates from command line

DirDate is a command line tool that can easily be automated to change file or folder last modification date, creation date or last access date. Change dates using a reference file, the current date/time or a series of YEAR, MONTH, DAY, HOUR, MIN, SEC and MSEC commands. It can process files in subfolders, handles read-only files, and has a preview mode so that you can see which files will be modified.

What version of Windows can DirDate run on?

DirDate can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
